Qiana Dixon is a dedicated Area Director of Sales and Marketing and Business Development at Suncrest Hospice, where she leads and trains teams across various nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities. With over 20 years of experience in training and facilitation, Qiana brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, ensuring that her teams deliver exceptional care and support to patients and their families.

A retired Air Force veteran, Qiana holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, underscoring her commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Throughout her career, she has facilitated numerous leadership and patient advocate seminars, demonstrating her ability to guide diverse groups through complex challenges.
Her military background has equipped her with exceptional skills in group dynamics and conflict resolution, which she applies daily in her professional endeavors.
Qiana first learned about the Certified MASALA Trainer opportunity through Roxy Hall and has since been inspired by the transformative power of FLAVA training. She passionately believes that understanding one’s personality type enhances both professional and personal growth. By leveraging FLAVA, Qiana aims to foster stronger teams through improved communication and mutual respect, breaking down barriers and creating harmonious work environments.
Her training repertoire includes leading military conflict resolution meetings during both wartime and peacetime, where life-and-death decisions were often at stake. In her current role at Suncrest Hospice, Qiana has successfully conducted "Hospice 101" trainings for nurses, nurse aides, and hospice teams, facilitating meaningful discussions that enhance respect, communication, and patient care cohesion.
Qiana has also participated in MASALA Training & Development experiences, including trainings with Roxy Hall during SHEnergy conferences and partial training sessions with Suncrest Hospice. Her advanced proficiency in Lean Six Sigma Trainings complements her expertise in group dynamics, making her a valuable asset to any training program.
Driven by a passion to help others succeed, Qiana is eager to join the MASALA Training team. She is committed to integrating the WYF system into her current practice, having already introduced it in all staff meetings at Suncrest Hospice. Her short-term goal is to implement WYF across her local team and office, while her long-term vision includes expanding its reach to all Suncrest Hospice teams and offices nationwide, and supporting other MASALA trainers as needed.
